Bauer Hockey is bringing a new look to their Vapor skate line with their latest addition, The Bauer Vapor Hyperlite Ice Hockey Skates. With key improvements made to nearly every part of the skates and a stylish new look, Bauer looks to offer ultimate performance in their best fitting boot.

Starting with the build of the Vapor Hyperlite Hockey Skates, the quarter package is built with Bauer’s new Hyperflex system. While still consisting of a highly stiff boot, this design allows for a very slight amount of flex within the boot, allowing it to conform to the natural shape of your foot, which helps with overall performance and comfort! This new design is constructed out of Bauer’s 3-D lasted Carbon Curv Composite material. This setup provides a familiar snug, close to the foot feel. Additionally, it is incredibly lightweight and durable as well, thanks to the Curv Composite material.

Going hand in hand with the Carbon Curv boot construction is the AeroLite Dual injected tongue! This new design provides players with improved forward flex meaning more range of motion during skating strides. This tongue also excels in comfort and protection thanks to the molded felt and dual injected insert. This will help to better protect the top of your foot from lace bite, blocked shots and stick checks.

Staying true to the asymmetrical concept seen within the Vapor line, the Vapor Hyperlite Hockey Skates take it a step further with the asymmetrical toe cap and box! With feedback using the profile of player scans, Bauer has optimized this new design to enhance your push-off power, helping increase top-end speed! Compared to its predecessor, this new toe cap and box is a touch shorter in height and longer in length.

Moving to the interior of the Vapor Hyperlite Hockey Skates, they feature Bauer’s Lock-Fit Pro liner. This liner is specifically designed to keep players feet dry and comfortable, as well as locked into place during gameplay in order to maximize skating efficiency thanks to a specialized grip on the lower half of the liner. Paired with the Lock-Fit Pro liner are the Aerofoam Pro memory foam pads within the ankles of the boot. This all-new foam delivers premium thermoformability, enhanced comfort and durability, and an improved fit!

The lower half of the Vapor Hyperlite Hockey Skates feature Bauer’s tried-and-true innovative LightSpeed EDGE holders. These holders are three millimeters taller than older model LightSpeed holders allowing players to get lower on their turns.

With key upgrades and additions, along with a stylish new design, the Bauer Vapor Hyperlite Ice Hockey Skates offer a top end, lightweight, and high performance skate every time you put them on!

Bauer TUUK Lightspeed Carbonlite Edge Runner

With an ultra-lightweight carbon fiber build, the Bauer TUUK Lightspeed Carbonlite Edge Runner will provide the best technology with a stabilizing spine for torsional flex. Not only does this steel provide the highest technically, the Carbonlite runner also has incredible edge retention, consistency and grip to maintain speed and superior performance. The height of the runner has been increased to help create a better attack angle so you can hold your edges in all tight movements. Bauer’s Carbonlite Runner comes with a friendly 10 foot radius that is perfect to skate on right out of the box, but can also be profiled without having to remove too much material.

The Carbonlite Runner fits easily into Bauer’s proprietary TUUK Lightspeed Edge Holder via a trigger attachment under the heel. If there is ever an issue removing the runner with your hands, Bauer has provided a tool in package to help pull the runner out of the holder.

This runner comes in whole sizes only and it is recommended to check the existing runner in your holder and order the same size.

If you are buying skates brand new and are picking your runner for the first time for Fit 1, Fit 2 or D width skates you would choose the whole number. EX: 7.5 Fit 2 would take 07 (263) runner. Fit 3 and EE width skates require the next size up. EX: 7.5 Fit 3 would take 08 (272) runner.
