Moving to the shoulders of the Tacks AS-V Shoulder Pads, the caps are constructed with JDP injected caps with exposed foam covers with D30 lite inside. This enhanced pro-level construction disperses the impact force away from shoulders while the D30 helps to absorb impacts and shock. Moving down from the caps, the biceps will feature adaptfit+ straps with height adjustable bicep guard. This customizable fit and reinforced bicep guards allow for pro-level protection where you need it. Additionally, CCM has reinforced floating arches for clavicle and shoulder blade protection. One of the most important protective parts of the AS-V shoulder pad is the sternum and spine protection. CCM is using Vent-tech floating sternum and spine hybrid shields with D30 smart material in the plexus. Vent-tech construction will allow for added airflow in these hot spots, keeping you cool while the all-new hybrid shields keep you protected with the D30 smart material reinforcing the tender sternum plexus. Starting out with the kneecaps of the Tacks AS-V, there is a pro level JDP cap construction with D30 smart material protection on the inside plus a protective comfort donut. This cap is designed to disperse impact force away from the knee joint while the D30 helps to absorb impact and shock. For added padding and comfort there is the donut in the knee, which will help to keep your knee in place and offer optimum comfort.

Just above the kneecaps of the AS-V is a compressed molded EVA foam flexmotion thigh guard. This top-quality foam offers pro-level protection, and the flex motion construction helps to keep it mobile without interfering with your hockey pants.

Moving down to the shin, the Tacks AS-V Shin Guards feature an anatomic-fitting PE shin cap providing players with pro-level protection and durability. Additionally, there is a tape groove allowing players to lock in hockey tape keeping your pads stable all game long. Coupled with the shin cap is an abrasion resistant bottom pad with D30 smart material. This reinforced bottom protects against impacts and adds durability against rubbing on the inside.

On the calf area of the Tacks AS-V Shin Guards, CCM incorporated an exposed injection molded calf guard with D30 shot block protection. This premium exposed tough calf guard utilizes the D30 smart material for extra impact and shock absorption, giving you elite level protection from shots and stick checks in the calf area.

Keeping everything secured is the Adaptfit straps which include a length adjustable dual calf strap plus a padded hyper X lock strap. This adjustable strap will help the shin guards wrap any size calf comfortably while the hyper lock x strap keeps them snug and in place all game long.

Starting with the construction of the Tacks AS-V Elbow Pads, CCM has a new max coverage anatomical shield design and a 2-piece flexmotion construction. ASD puts protection at the forefront, providing ultra-comfort and a customizable fit. ASD is engineered to offer a great level of coverage that follows the body’s natural shape while allowing for maximum protection without sacrificing mobility.

At the top of the Tacks AS-V Elbow pads will be a 2-piece floating articulated and reinforced compressed-molded Eva foam bicep guard. This flexmotion bicep construction offers elite level protection and superior comfort and fit.

Just below the bicep protection is the JDP reinforced elbow cap with D30 inside and a molded EVA foam cover. This elite-level elbow cap is designed to disperse impact force away from the elbow while D30 absorbs shock and impact inside the pad.

Moving down to the forearm, the Tacks AS-V Elbow Pads include a slash shield with a sublimated liner. This injection molded forearm guard offers premium protection and comfort feel.

A brand new strapping system is holding everything together on the Tacks AS-V Elbow Pads. The Adaptfit straps offer a middle lock strap plus a 360 degree wraparound forearm strap. This lock middle strap, along with the front 360 wrapping strap, allows for a snug fit without the elbow pad slipping.
